I chose â€Å"Smoking behavior and motivational ï ¬â€šexibility in light and heavy smokers,† (Darlow Lobel 2012) because I have never understood why people chose to smoke. You know that smoking is bad for your health when you start smoking and you know it is hard to quit so why do people even start smoking in the first place? This article captured my interest because I work with a lot of people that smoke and have been smoking for years and I always wondered what their motivation was to smoke. I have also always wondered if there were certain triggers that caused them to, â€Å"crave,† a cigarette. I think learning why people smoke and what dictates when they do it would be informational. 2.
